Michigan Avenue Animal Hospital Associate Veterinarian

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with our clients. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff and will work closely with the Hospital Manager and report directly to the Regional Manager.

Michigan Avenue Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital and offers a variety of comprehensive veterinary services to help keep your pet in good health. Our services range from wellness exams and vaccinations to dental care and internal medicine. We offer a wide range of elective and non-elective surgical services, from spays and neuters to soft tissue surgeries. We also provide a host of specialized veterinary services including pain management. We provide families and their beloved pets with compassionate and knowledgeable veterinary care in Ypsilanti and across Washtenaw County and are committed to providing excellent veterinary services to all of our patients and clients.

Michigan Avenue is located less than 30 minutes from both Ann Arbor and Detroit. Our 4-doctor team is supported by a skilled support staff and modern medical technology. As a veterinarian with Michigan Avenue Animal Hospital, we will empower you to :

• Provide high-quality medical care to patients in a warm, welcoming, and professional environment
• Stay current with advances in veterinary medicine, offering a wide range of services including surgeries, dental care, internal medicine, emergency + critical care, and rehabilitation
• Grow your skillset and confidence in a wide array of medical + surgical procedures through supportive mentorship
• Utilize the latest in medical technology from our state-of-the-art facility

Compensation and Benefits Overview :

• Salary Range : $120,000 - $150,000
• Up to $100,000 Sign On Bonus for 3-year commitment
• Paid time off and holidays

Qualifications :

• Veterinarian degree (DVM) from an accredited college or university
• Current State Veterinary License
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent surgical and dental skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality veterinary care
