Director of Public Health

A company is looking for a Director of Public Health Watch.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the Public Health Watch Project, including production of press materials and messaging guidance

Conduct rapid response communications on critical public health issues

Manage media outreach and supervise project employees and contractors

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

5+ years of experience in communications and press relations, preferably in public health advocacy

Strong understanding of public health and health policy issues

Experience with national health care and political reporters

Background in personnel management and project supervision

Experience in a communications role at health agencies or advocacy organizations is preferred
