Job Title : MIG / TIG Welder

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a MIG / TIG Welder, where you will be responsible for welding small and large vibration machinery and equipment. You will need to read and understand assembly prints, pick lists, weld blueprints, and sales and shop orders. This role also involves using an overhead and jib crane to move pre-welded materials or finished products. This position will pay between $22-25 / hr depending on how you do on a weld test.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on vibration machinery and equipment.
• Interpret assembly prints, weld blueprints, and shop orders accurately.
• Utilize cranes to handle pre-welded materials and finished products.
• Ensure quality welding in all directions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead.

Work Environment

Work in a large equipment manufacturing shop with operating hours from 5 : 00am to 5 : 30pm, Monday through Friday, and Saturday from 5 : 00am to 11 : 00am. Standard shifts are 6 : 00am to 2 : 30pm. With the current demand, employees are working 50-55 hours weekly, with plans to reduce overtime through new hires.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $52000.00 / yr.

Benefits include competitive pay, health, dental and life insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401(K) with company match.

They also have a HSA and FSA for employees (Benefits are attached). Double Time paid after 50 hours worked.
