We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our growing team. This role will involve designing, automating, and integrating internal developer tools and systems to create a seamless, self-service developer experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI / CD, and Azure platform integration , and a passion for developer productivity, automation, and platform scalability.

As a Platform Engineer Developer Platform Enablement , you will help design and evolve our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) that connects developers, tools, and infrastructure into a unified experience. You'll collaborate with development, SRE, and infrastructure teams to improve workflows, integrate systems, and empower developer self-service through modern platform engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and build integrations between internal developer tools, CI / CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
Implement and manage platform tooling and integrations to enhance automation, developer self-service, and the overall developer experience.
Collaborate closely with the Cloud Infrastructure team to align IaC and Azure implementations with platform integrations.
Develop automation and orchestration logic (e.g., workflows, APIs, event-driven processes) to streamline provisioning, deployments, and environment management.
Enhance CI / CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to ensure consistency and automated delivery patterns.
Work with engineering teams to define "golden paths" and reusable service templates that promote reliability and speed.
Contribute to developer experience (DX) initiatives by supporting onboarding, observability, and security guardrails.
Partner cross-functionally with SRE, Cloud, and Software teams to evolve the internal platform as a product.
Required Skills & Experience :
5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering , DevOps , or Software Engineering roles.
Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep, etc.) and integration practices.
Hands-on experience with at least one IDP or platform orchestration tool - e.g., Port, Humanitec, Backstage, or Spacelift.
Solid experience with CI / CD systems such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Working knowledge of Azure architecture and services (AKS, ACR, App Services, Networking, RBAC).
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar).
Strong communication and collaboration skills across developer and infrastructure teams.
Nice-to-Have :
Experience developing Backstage plugins or Port integrations.
Familiarity with policy-as-code tools (OPA, Sentinel).
Exposure to GitOps patterns and service templates.
Experience with observability and incident automation tools.
Prior experience building or maintaining Internal Developer Platforms at scale.
