Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY :

This position is responsible for accurately performing the pre-services functions for outpatient therapy service patients including scheduling, pre-registration,

insurance verification / authorization, estimates and collections as well as completing registration upon arrival, continued scheduling beyond evaluation and any

additional inusrance authorization or scheduling needs

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency.
• Minimum of one to two years of patient scheduling and registration experience preferred.
• Requires a working knowledge of third-party payer requirements, healthcare billing, and strong customer service

experience with demonstrated service excellence. Requires the ability to prioritize and perform work in an organized,

efficient and effective manner without constant supervision or direction. Experience in data entry, collections and

medical terminology preferred.
