Location / Division Specific Information

This position is part of our dynamic Statistical Science team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

The role is on-site, offering a12-week internship with 40 hours per week.

• Join us in our mission to drive groundbreaking discoveries in clinical trials. As a Statistical Science Intern, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing clinical trial data and developing novel analytical tools.

A day in the Life :

Perform statistical programming and analyses using R and SAS.

Develop and maintain R Shiny applications for data visualization.

Collaborate with AI / ML experts to integrate biostatistical workflows.

Keys to Success :

Education

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Biostatistics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience

Strong proficiency in R and SAS.

Experience developing R applications using Shiny.

Familiarity with clinical trial data analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Solid understanding of clinical trial design and regulatory guidelines.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques is a plus.
