Job Title : Cable Assembler II

Pay Rate : $21.00-$23.00 / hr.

Location : Beverly MA 01915

Duration : Temp to Perm

Shift : M-F 7am-3 : 30pm OR 6am-2 : 30pm (6am is the earliest starting time)

Will interview and test the following skills :

Solder
Reading prints and / or drawings
Wire stripping
Measuring skills

Due to the nature of our business, we are unable to provide sponsorship. Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).

Essential functions :

Build cable assembly to print, draw, and manufacture work instructions and ECN’s.

Measure and cut wire, cable, inner and outer jackets to required length.

Perform wire termination and crimp terminals both manually and by machine.

Solder terminals and plugs.

Repair rejected product.

Required skills (mandatory) :

Cable assembly experience.

Soldering skills.

Manufacturing experience.

Ability to interpret detailed specifications.

Mechanical aptitude.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Ability to read, write and speak English.

Basic math skills – Must be able to measure in inches and increments of inches.

Desired skills (not mandatory) :

IPC-610 and 620 certified through step 1

Soldering wires and pins

Cable build experience

Qualifications :

Years experience 1+ years required.

Education : HS diploma or equivalent

Physical requirements :

Repetitive use of small hand tools

Lifting to 25 lbs.

Cutting cable up to 2” in diameter

Walking, standing, and sitting.

You should be proficient in :

Soldering
