Job Description : As a Merchandising Intern, you will be part of SpartanNash's 12-week, paid Internship Program. Our Internship Program is designed to expose you to the grocery and distribution industry, immerse you in real-world problem-solving, and foster meaningful experiences with other interns.

The internship is a full-time summer opportunity based in Byron Center, MI, from May 18, 2026, to August 7, 2026. Housing assistance is available to candidates who meet eligibility requirements.

• Space Planning & Analytics Intern
• Fresh Deli, Meat & Seafood Intern

Responsibilities : While day-to-day responsibilities may vary based on the specific internship, our Merchandising team builds partnerships, curates the right assortment, and develops category plans to ensure shoppers can find what they need quickly. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to support projects and achieve shared goals. Participate in a Capstone Project that applies internship learnings to a business challenge, showcasing research, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Engage in professional development opportunities that may include an executive speaker series, workshops, tours of SpartanNash headquarters, and a day immersed in our Retail environment.
