HEARTLINE STAFFING, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Cath Lab Technician / Cardiovascular Technologist for a permanent, full-time opportunity in Port St Lucie, Florida.

Position Summary:

The Cath Lab Technician / Cardiovascular Technologist assists cardiologists and radiologists in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab during invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role supports patient safety and procedural efficiency through monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating responsibilities while maintaining strict radiation safety and quality standards.

Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Shift Length: 8-hour shifts

On Call: Required (approximately 10 call shifts per month)

Call Requirement: Candidate must live within 30 minutes of the facility

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and invasive cardiovascular procedures.

• Perform monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating duties during procedures.

• Operate imaging and cardiovascular equipment safely while maintaining ALARA standards.

• Maintain awareness of new procedures, equipment, and exam protocols.

• Assist with maintaining cath lab supply inventory at appropriate levels.

• Provide a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment throughout procedures.

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Range based on experience:

$30 per hour minimum

$36 per hour mid range

Up to $42 per hour maximum

Requirements:

Active, unrestricted Cardiovascular Technologist or Cath Lab Technician credential for the position you are applying for

Education from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology required

CVT RCIS or ARRT certification required

Current Basic Life Support BLS certification required

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS certification required

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist or experienced ARRT

Ability to meet on-call requirements and live within 30 minutes of the facility
