What You Will Do as a Commercial Product Developer
This position manages the development of product into the designated supply channels ensuring an efficient, timely transition of each product as it matures through the development cycle. Guides the teams through the new ordering logistics, the transition period of the product and clearly communicates how the new product fits into the overall mix from each supply base.

- Manages the development of product into the designated supply channels ensuring an efficient, timely transition of each product as it matures through the development cycle. - Drives all aspects of the product development process for assigned products, including systems databases, communication between the suppliers and merchandising. Oversees and communicates appropriately on the entire development process and specific details involved in each assigned project.
- Provides analysis and input in product developments and placement as it relates to new and existing supply base commercially.
- Develops and executes existing supplier capabilities through the education / training of internal customers, merchandising, marketing and operations as well as existing customer such as designated supply teams.
- In conjunction with the Manager, Product Development, gathers and evaluates the development variables, such as pricing, cost scenarios, vendor minimums, lead times, duty restrictions, and logistics needs in support of the product development process.
- Nurtures connectivity with merchandising to appreciate all aspects of the team's product development needs to support immediate and long-term strategy.
Skills for Success :
Bachelor's degree is required3-5 years of related experience preferredPrevious experience in supply chain product development OR degree in supply chainPrevious experience in apparel a plusFluent in Spanish a plusExcellent communication skills (writing / oral)Strong ability to negotiate terms in a variety of circumstancesStrong technical skills, computer skills, and overall business acumenDetailed oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlinesAbility to travel up to 10%
