Locums - Neurohospitalist Opening in Midlothian, Virginia
Dates of Coverage :
3 / 27 / 2026 at 12 : 00 PM - 4 / 3 / 2026 at 12 : 00 PM
7 / 17 / 2026 at 12 : 00 PM - 7 / 24 / 2026 at 12 : 00 PM
11 / 20 / 2026 at 12 : 00 PM - 11 / 27 / 2026 at 12 : 00 PM
12 / 18 / 2026 at 12 : 00 PM - 12 / 25 / 2026 at 12 : 00 PM
Practice Details :
Inpatient coverage : ICU, ED, and general floor rounding
True consult service
Reason for coverage : physician time off
Patient population : adult, medicine, ED, ICU
No APP coverage during assignment
No other neurohospitalists on-site during locum coverage
Locum will not respond to in-house codes
Not responsible for supervising other healthcare providers
EMR : Epic
Patient Volumes :
Inpatient : 12-16 per day
ICU : varies
ED : varies
Admissions : N / A
Procedures Required :
Lumbar puncture
Requirements :
Board Certified - Required
Active Virginia license - Required (will accept providers needing to obtain state license)
BLS and ACLS - Required
Active DEA - Required
