Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details Job Title : Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Assignment Location : Florence, Alabama (35630) - Alabama nursing jobs Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 - End : 3 / 2 / 2026) Shift : 8 Hour Days (6 : 30am - 3 : 00pm) Hours : 40 hours per week plus call Weekend Coverage : Call only Call Schedule : 7 days on, 7 days off Patient Population : Adult and Geriatric Unit : Cardiac Stepdown (CVOR), 4 beds, 1 : 1 patient ratio Estimated Weekly Salary : $2210 - $2370 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse) BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR experience (Cardiac and Vascular) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher Experience with heart / lung machine, cellsaver, Doppler, and TEE equipment preferred Strong clinical skills in managing CAD, PVD, CHF, and valvular disease Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiac Stepdown (CVOR) unit Monitor and manage patients recovering from cardiovascular and vascular surgeries Operate specialized equipment : heart / lung machine, cellsaver, Doppler, and TEE Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech ORM EHR Fulfill call requirements as scheduled (7 days on, 7 days off) Apply now to join our healthcare team in Florence, Alabama and make a difference in cardiac patient care!
