PreOp / PACU RN – Outpatient Surgical Center – Greater Houston Area

💉 Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients before and after surgical procedures in a focused, fast-paced outpatient setting.

🩺 Utilize your perioperative expertise to support a smooth surgical experience—preparing patients in PreOp and monitoring recovery in PACU—while working in a team-oriented, cross-trained environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform comprehensive PreOp assessments and prepare patients for surgery
• Provide post-anesthesia care, monitor vitals, and manage recovery for patients in PACU
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure smooth handoffs and patient safety
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical protocols
• Respond effectively to patient needs and changes in condition
• Cross-train and rotate between PreOp and PACU as needed
• Support the center’s culture of high accountability and patient-centered care
