Key Responsibilities

Operational Management of Institutional Relationships :

  • Lead the setup, maintenance, and oversight of operational structures with institutional partners such as custodians and brokers.
  • Build and implement processes and policies around access and security administration for custodians and other key partners.
  • Manage the day-to-day interface with both internal stakeholders and external third parties, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
  • Administer custodian access / security structures, including setting up, granting, monitoring, and withdrawing permissions as needed.
  • Support institutional transitions and integrations during significant organizational events.

Project Management :

  • Lead key strategic projects focused on optimizing institutional relationships and improving operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and streamline internal processes that support the vendor relationship management function.
  • Reporting & Compliance :

  • Work with Compliance teams to ensure institutional relationships meet regulatory requirements, assisting in the delivery and coordination of reporting obligations.
  • Interface with the Compliance team to deliver core reporting requirements, ensuring all institutional operations are aligned with regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication :

  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams (operations, legal, compliance) and external partners to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Ensure that all institutional partner issues and opportunities are communicated effectively, with detailed follow-through on action items.
  • Skills & Qualifications

  • Project Management : Proven ability to lead and execute strategic projects, particularly those related to vendor and institutional management.
  • Detail-Oriented : Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring quality and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Data Analysis : Solid data analysis skills and experience with Excel, with the ability to interpret and leverage data for decision-making in the management of institutional relationships.
  • Custodian Experience : Deep experience working with custodians is preferred, particularly in the context of permissioning, access management, and operational transitions.
  • Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships across various levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Follow-Through : A high degree of follow-through and accountability for the successful execution of day-to-day responsibilities and strategic projects.
  • Preferred Experience

  • Experience with institutional management in financial services, particularly with custodians and brokers.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks related to institutional relationships, particularly in the context of custodial access and security structures.
  • Physical Requirements :

    This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.     This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

    This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
