• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM
• 36 or 48 hour weekly contracts available
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Floating to other units required
• Dress code : Navy blue scrubs required
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience required with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications : Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand)
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Treat patients across all age groups : newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds Facility : This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive emergency department with 64 beds designed to handle a full spectrum of emergency medical situations.
