Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to design, create, and modify CNC programs for a variety of metal processing equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in CNC programming, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. You will work with a diverse range of machinery, including Plate Laser, Tube Laser, Plate Processing Machines, Plasma, Angle Machines, Drill Lines, and Robotic Assemblers.
Key Responsibilities :
Draw plates, tubes, and beams using AutoCAD Mechanical based on customer-provided drawings.
Nest parts using software such as Pronest, ARTUBE, and Raptor to optimize material usage.
Collaborate with project management, procurement, and shop personnel to ensure efficient production.
Maintain high standards of accuracy and precision in all programming tasks.
Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–2 years of experience in CNC programming.
Experience with milling, plasma, and various plate machines.
Proficiency in Pronest or other nesting software.
Experience with AutoCAD software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements :
Approximately 90% sitting, 10% walking and standing.
Frequent use of hands for operating tools, controls, and handling materials.
Ability to view a computer monitor for extended periods.
Frequent alphanumeric keyboarding.
