Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology NP in Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004!

About The Position

📝 Description :

  • Join a well-established Hematology / Oncology team as a full-time NP / PA. Serve a diverse patient base in outpatient and hospital settings, managing oncology and hematology cases with strong physician collaboration in a growing community hospital affiliated with a major health system.

📋 Job Responsibilities :

  • Manage 15-20 outpatients and 3-5 inpatient visits daily
  • Participate in tumor board meetings and coordinate patient care
  • Perform chemotherapy administration, biopsies, and catheter management
  • Order tests, images, and prescribe treatments following protocols
  • Provide on-call coverage approx. 10 days / month (including some weekends)
  • Document thoroughly in EPIC EMR system

    • ⏰ Working Hours :

  • Day shifts (schedule negotiable) plus on-call duties approx. 10 days / month including weekends

    • 💡 Skills :

  • Proficiency in outpatient and inpatient Hem / Onc care
  • Strong clinical and procedural skills (FNA, biopsy, chemo administration)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

    Job Requirements

    🎓 Qualifications :

  • Board Certified NP or PA in Hematology / Oncology
  • Ohio license (or willingness to obtain)
  • ACLS and BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • DEA license obtained prior to start
  • Minimum 1 year Hem / Onc NP / PA clinical experience (non-RN / general practice)
  • Willing to relocate or live within 40-mile radius
