Occupational Therapy Assistant in Middletown (November Coverage)

Priority Care Rehab is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to help fill OT coverage this November in a friendly skilled-nursing facility. This is a great opportunity for hands-on clinicians who deliver compassionate care on a short-term basis.

What You’ll Do :

Support Daily Function – Implement and adapt OT treatment plans focused on ADLs, fine motor tasks, and mobility under OT supervision.

Conduct Assessments & Interventions – Perform resident evaluations and deliver evidence-based therapy.

Coordinate Care – Collaborate closely with the OT, PT, SLP, nursing staff, and physicians to ensure seamless resident care.

Document Progress – Use the facility’s EMR to record treatments, track gains, and share notes for consistent care continuity.

What We’re Looking For :

Graduate from an accredited OTA program

Active, unrestricted NY State COTA license

Current CPR / BLS certification

Facility-based rehab experience preferred
