Variant Scientist II

A company is looking for a Variant Scientist II to join its team remotely.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform variant interpretation using an in-house genetic evidence system to generate clinical reports

Analyze and interpret clinical and genetic information from various sources

Develop and curate genetic content for a range of genetic disorders

Required Qualifications :

Ph.D. in Life Sciences with variant interpretation experience, or

Master's degree in a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or

Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Experience in a CLIA diagnostic laboratory and familiarity with next-generation sequencing is preferred

Experience in cardiology and / or neurology is a plus
