Facilities Engineer

Job Summary
Technologist, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team supporting the 21 Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) located at Peterson Space force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical, electrical and general commercial construction background.

Required experience/education:

• Five (5) years commercial electrical, mechanical or structural (roofing, framing/interior construction) experience/expertise
• Project management experience
• Experience writing SOW or RFIs
• Knowledge of engineering principles and analytical techniques in order to support complex engineering assignments relating to civil engineering disciplines
• DoD experience desired but not required - DoD project programming and development of programming documents (e.g. DD 1391s)
• Engineering degree desired but not required
• Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications

Duties:

The position works with facility staff and Space Force personnel to define project requirements, ensure compliance with codes/regulations, ensure facility readiness, prepare SOWs, develop cost estimates and provide oversight on on-going construction projects.
