J OB FUNCTION :
To create an exceptional customer experience by ensuring all transactions are processed accurately. Keep accurate records of currency and negotiable instruments while following bank policies and procedures. Being part of the Travel Team requires travel between any of our banking centers, as needed. Provide referrals for new products and services based on customer needs on a daily basis.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging, educating and building personal
connections with our customers.
Accept and process deposits and withdrawals on commercial, personal, and savingsaccounts. Cash various types of checks according to established policies
Count, sort and package currency and coin. Prepare and fill change orders for commercial customersUse computer system / software to handle all bank offered servicesBalance cash daily following standard proceduresMake referrals of bank's services to new and existing customers.Follow the bank's established sales and service processBuy and sell money to stay within assigned cash limitPerform other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Work Experience
1 year of previous Teller experienceAbility to travel and work at various designated Jefferson Bank locations on a daily basisAble to work 40 flexible hours per week including SaturdaysExcellent customer service skills while handling variety of dutiesValid Driver's License with reliable transportationPreferred Experience (Optional)
2 years of previous Teller experienceProficiency in financial platforms such as core system and CRM as well as working with cashrecyclers
