What Are We Looking For?
Novant Health Urgent Care is currently looking for a Human Resource Business Partner, Manager to join our team. The role serves as a coach and mentor for individuals in the Human Resources department, providing guidance to employees on company policies and procedures. The manager collaborates with employees and management on employee concerns and relations.
Key Responsibilities
Consults with internal management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed / required.Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.Practices open-door policy to encourage employees to discuss grievances. Facilitates peer-to-peer and employee–manager discussion / mediations.Generates reports from databases to disseminate information to internal departments and external entities.Assists with interim and annual audits.Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications
