Sales Manager, Channel Partners
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Channel Partners, the Sales Manager helps lead and develop a team that supports Christian Care Ministry's primary distribution channel, market-facing partners, and like-minded organizations that share our mission and values. This includes strategic oversight of licensed Christian insurance agents, support of our targeted strategy, strategic and operational leadership to ensure partners are equipped, engaged, and supported in driving growth, member acquisition, and community impact. The Manager oversees the partner support team, fosters collaboration across departments, and strengthens relationships that expand Medi-Share's presence and community engagement within targeted areas. A strong emphasis is placed on cultivating a Christ-centered culture, partnership excellence, and sustainable channel growth mindset all aligned with ministry objectives.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, coach, and develop the Channel Partner Support Team to deliver outstanding service and operational results.
Define performance metrics, establish accountability standards, and drive continuous improvement within the team.Foster a Christ-centered collaborative, values-driven, and results-oriented culture focused on partner success.Channel Development & StrategyExecute and refine the channel growth strategy to expand Medi-Share's reach through licensed health insurance agents and market-facing partners.
Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities within targeted geographic regions.Collaborate with internal departments (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Compliance) to ensure alignment with organizational goals and market needs.Partner Relationship ManagementOversee vetting, onboarding, training, and support for external agents and partners to ensure deep understanding of Medi-Share products and mission.
Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key partners and agencies, serving as the primary escalation point for high-value agencies, agents and accounts.Support partner marketing, lead generation, and member acquisition initiatives.Operational ExcellenceHelp enhance operational efficiencies; reporting, analytics, and dashboards to streamline partner support, manage performance and identify growth opportunities.
Oversee process improvements that increase efficiency and scalability of partner support functions.Develop and manage systems and processes to streamline partner support and enhance operational efficiency.Monitor partner performance through reporting, analytics, and feedback channels, identifying opportunities for optimization.Ensure compliance with ministry policies, partner agreements, and ethical business standards.Community & Ministry ImpactPromote Medi-Share's mission by cultivating partnerships that expand outreach within Christian networks, key markets and communities.
Represent the ministry at events, conferences, professional events and partner gatherings to build trust and visibility.Champion a values-driven approach that integrates faith, service, and excellence in every partner interaction.Promote the organization's mission and values through professional conduct and relationship development.Engage in outreach initiatives that strengthen Medi-Share's brand presence in Christian and values-aligned markets.Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry's beliefs.All other duties as assigned.Essential Skills & Abilities
Deep insurance industry knowledge with a high capacity to understand products from multiple carriers needed to strategically position CCM products as a viable alternative.Strong understanding of and ability to train others within stated Guidelines, offerings and provisions of Medi?Share, Medi-Share 65+, Value and future product launches.Exceptional customer service skills along with the proven ability to train and coach others to the same level or higher.Adept in sales techniques, able to adapt, to quickly evaluate root cause during crisis, and build programs for continuous improvement by identifying challenges and provide sound solutions that equate to conversions.Ability to understand and solve problems related to both the agent and customer journey.Solid understanding of Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems and any other tools or resources utilized by CCM to serve our agents, applicants and members.Ability to compile data from a variety of sources (for example, Tableau, Salesforce, KIWI, SSRS Reports, and spreadsheets) and analyze or synthesize data for data-based decision makingAbility to understand the systems utilized by CCM staff well enough to offer recommendations for streamlining and improving process flow.Ability to maintain and correctly handle sensitive and confidential information and any scenarios related to HIPPA or protected, private, and confidential information.Leadership skill - a player / coach able to provide direction, manage staffing, performance manage, address conflict effectively, and provide servant leadership.Demonstrated experience in sales and business management and track record of managing team performance through activating existing channels and building new channels.Core Competencies / Demonstrable Behaviors

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.5+ years' experience in partner management, channel sales, or business development in a related industry; healthcare payer experience strongly preferredMinimum of 10 years' experience in one or a combination of health, P&C, life-insurance, healthcare sharing, or financial services, with demonstrated success in partner, agency or channel management required.Active Health & Life Insurance License required; P&C license, CPA, or financial advisory license preferredPrior experience in people leadership required, preferably in a channel sales or partner management roleSupervisory Responsibilities
