Job Summary

Under guidance of the uConnect Supervisor, the Enterprise Collaboration Analyst, is responsible for supporting the digital collaboration workspaces used by students, faculty, staff, and affiliates on the UC Davis campus. These include Google Workspace, Box, and Office 365 offerings like OneDrive. Utilized by campus users daily, these tools are a mission-critical part of the campus IT infrastructure. Assimilating knowledge from a variety of sources including Knowledge Base articles, blogs, Google product worksheets, webinars, other employees on the UC Davis campus, and other resources available elsewhere within and outside the University of California system, this position assists with troubleshooting issues and keeping the Google Workspace system running at optimal levels.

Department Overview
This position is part of the uConnect team within the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) group under Information & Educational Technology (IET). The uConnect team provides service administration, development and support for a variety of mission critical systems and services including Active Directory, Google Workspace, and Email (Exchange Email and Google / DavisMail).
Department Specific Job Scope
This position utilizes attention to detail, learning of new concepts and technologies, and applying the understanding of those concepts in practice to administer and support critical campus services.

Salary or Pay Range : $33.33 / hr. - $59.48 / hr.

Hire MUST be located in-state. (Out of state applicants will be considered but must relocate instate if hired). This position can be done primarily remote with the expectation that the employee must be available to come on site should management deem it necessary for emergencies, meetings, support activities, etc. No reimbursement of travel expenses, travel time not considered work hours.
