ADS Cosmetic and Family Dentistry is seeking a dedicated, passionate Dental Assistant to join our growing team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional, patient-centered care and supporting our dentists in delivering the highest standard of oral healthcare.

Responsibilities :

Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, and performing other chairside duties

Ensure sterilization and disinfection of instruments and dental operatories according to strict infection control protocols

Greet patients, escort them to treatment rooms, and provide a warm, welcoming experience

Obtain and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and post-treatment instructions

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our electronic dental software

Restock and organize dental supplies, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient workflow

Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as taking impressions and fabricating temporary restorations

Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, and the broader dental team

Qualifications :

Completion of a Dental Assisting program or equivalent training

Current Dental Assisting certification or license, as required by state regulations

Proficient in using dental equipment and software, with a strong understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Ability to multitask, work efficiently, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality

Flexible schedule and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
