Material Handler

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the efficient and accurate movement of products, materials, and supplies within the distribution center. This role supports all phases of warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, stocking, pulling, and shipping, ensuring inventory integrity and timely order fulfillment.

• JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately receive, count, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or other documents.

Use material handling equipment (Forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) to safely move materials to designated storage areas or production lines.

Pick and stage customer orders or materials for outbound shipment according to specifications, maintaining accuracy and quality.

Assist with inventory cycle counts and general housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Load and unload trailers and trucks in a timely manner, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.

Basic computer skills needed

Physical Stamina : Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs consistently and stand / walk for extended periods.

Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy in counting, sorting, and verifying product information.

Reliability & Work Ethic : Consistent attendance, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety procedures.

Basic Math & Reading : Competency in basic arithmetic and the ability to read and understand written work instructions.

Teamwork : Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and follow directions from supervisors.
