  • Unit : Multi-specialty Med / Surg Telemetry (MS / TELE)\n
  • Dress Code : Solid Navy Scrubs\n
  • Parking : On-site parking available\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1720 - $1840\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required\n
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses)\n
  • BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)\n
  • Registered in NURSYS\n
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; will consider candidates with at least 18 months of experience, including 1 year in Med / Surg Telemetry\n
  • Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed\n
  • Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as required\n
  • Experience with Meditech EMR preferred\n

    • \n\nMed / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a multi-specialty Med / Surg Telemetry unit\n
  • Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry and acute medical / surgical care\n
  • Care for a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, general surgery, and acute medical cases\n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Focus on pain management, mobility, and prevention of complications\n
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures\n
  • Float to other units or hospitals as assigned\n
  • Provide compassionate nursing care and foster a safe, comfortable environment for patients\n
