Security Technician

Overview

This is a long-term opportunity to support a high-profile project, focused on servicing and maintaining CCTV cameras and access control systems. The position shifts between day and night, requiring candidates to be fully comfortable working overnight hours. Responsibilities

• Install, mount, and wire CCTV cameras, card readers, maglocks, strikes, and other access control hardware
• Pull, route, and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat5e / 6, coax, etc.)
• Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics
• Perform structured cabling tasks including cable support, labeling, and testing
• Mount enclosures, run conduit as needed, and ensure a neat final install
• Use hand tools and power tools in compliance with job site and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades on-site
• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to installation standards and timelines
