SUMMARY : As a Design Engineer at Seifert Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of innovative machinery and automation products. Collaborating closely with engineers, and project managers, you will prepare detailed calculations, develop technical drawings, and ensure designs meet both company and client standards. Your work will support the building and installation processes, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Drawing & Specification Review : Read, interpret, and review 2D drawings.
• Design & Development : Prepare calculations for proposed machinery, develop sketches and designs using input from engineers and architects, and create designs in compliance with company procedures, regulations, and client standards.
• Collaboration : Work closely with Project Management, Engineering, and Sales departments to develop optimal products tailored to each project’s needs. Provide support during the building and installation process, ensuring proper adherence to design specifications.
• Technical Analysis : Calculate factors such as tolerance, dimensions, and perform finite element analysis. Utilize customer feedback and data to upgrade, improve, or repair existing machinery.
• Project Tracking : Maintain accurate tracking of all projects, bidders’ lists, and specialty projects within the market segment. Finalize designs and send prints to the production department.
• Quality Assurance : Qualify and address any conflicts between drawings and specifications, document all inclusions, exclusions, and discrepancies clearly. Submit drawings to upper management and engineering teams for review.
• Order Management : Handle order entry for all projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
