Equipment Maintenance Technician II Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician II to support our overnight production operations. This role is critical in ensuring equipment reliability, product quality, and smooth manufacturing flow. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
Equipment Maintenance Technician II Key Responsibilities
Equipment Operation & Setup
- Operate production equipment within defined quality and quantity standards.
- Set up and debug machines according to specifications, plant policies, and departmental procedures.
- Start up equipment, verify proper machine and control panel function, and ensure safety guards are properly in place.
Maintenance & Repair
Perform equipment adjustments, troubleshooting, cleaning, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.Conduct routine and preventative maintenance per PM schedules and operational needs.Repair equipment within skill capability and assist Maintenance, LTA / Production Mechanics, or Manufacturing Technicians with major repairs.Maintain equipment logs with accurate, clear, and legible entries.Production Support
Monitor and replenish component inventories; notify material handler when supplies run low.Clear jams safely and restart equipment.Maintain accurate production and downtime records.Support upstream and downstream production activities as needed.Perform rework when required.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Quality & Safety
Monitor in-process quality and take immediate action to prevent product holds.Perform and document all required quality checks and process challenges.Follow all plant safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and Quality System Requirements (QSR).Ensure part tracks are clean and free-flowing.Team Collaboration
Work effectively in a team environment and support coworkers across production and maintenance.Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.Equipment Maintenance Technician II Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools, troubleshooting, setup procedures, and blueprint reading.Ability to maintain accurate logs and documentation.Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and ability to work independently.Previous experience in equipment maintenance, manufacturing, or related field preferred.If interested please email your resume to Izzy P at A-Line!
