Job Summary :
The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR II) represents the face of our client to patients, whether for routine testing or essential diagnostic services. You’ll draw high-quality blood samples, prepare specimens for testing, and ensure accuracy and professionalism in every patient interaction. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform accurate and efficient specimen collection and processing in compliance with established procedures.
Maintain a safe and professional work environment that promotes trust and patient comfort.
Verify patient information, confirm labeling accuracy, and obtain signatures after venipuncture.
Record and maintain required documentation and ensure data accuracy in all systems.
Execute both forensic and clinical specimen collection duties with precision and confidentiality.
Support multiple patient service centers or in-office phlebotomy sites as needed.
Uphold company policies, including health and safety, dress code, and quality standards.
Deliver outstanding customer service through effective communication and empathy.
Required Experience :
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory in CA, NV, and WA).
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Keyboard / data entry experience required.
Nice-to-Have Experience :
At least 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment.
Customer service experience in healthcare or retail settings.
Experience with hospital credentialing or point-of-care testing.
