THE ROLE OF A COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO COORDINATOR
As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you support the world class CorePower Yoga studio experience including coordinating studio operations and holding the studio to the highest health and safety standards. In alignment with our Core Values, you work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth towards all current company and studio-level goals. This role is a part-time, entry-level position designed to help you learn the business and develop relevant skills.
Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
- Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga Core Values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others
- Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment
- Commit to a flexible schedule of 18-29 hours per week in studio, supporting operations, teaching (if certified), health and safety protocols, front desk, and team support
- Serve as the studio-level point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present
- Maintain studio supply inventory for provisions and amenities, including cleanliness supplies, towels, programming materials, etc.
- Engage with the studio community, greet students by name, and foster a welcoming environment
- Assist teachers with POS and pre / post class duties
Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety, and Cleanliness Protocol
Ensure the studio space meets cleanliness and safety standards, including environment, temperature, music, and clutter-free surroundingsSupport communication of Smart Health Protocols to studentsAssist with cleaning, stocking amenities, and following cleanliness protocols while on dutySupport coordination of the Studio Experience Team, including scheduling, training, and coverage for no-showsLead orientation for new team members on cleanliness and rolesAct as a liaison between the Studio Manager and teams for operational systems, including POS, reservations, training applications, and facilities ticketsTeaching Schedule
Support the class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 branded CorePower Yoga classes per week and assisting with subbing as needed.
Skills & Experience
Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core ValuesExcellent communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skillsCustomer service experience requiredYoga Alliance 200-hour certification preferred; Yoga Sculpt training preferredComfortable with studio systems such as HRIS, POS, scheduling, and payrollAbility to build relationships across diverse personalities and levels of experienceThrives in fast-paced environments and can prioritize tasks effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office : Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, ExcelCollege degree (BA / BS) preferredThe Fine Print
