We are seeking skilled temporary pipefitters who are adept at reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, written technical instructions, and manuals for working diagrams and pipe systems. The role involves planning work layouts and modifying or repairing new and existing valves and piping. You will inspect and test installed piping and associated valves, hardware, and hangers. A solid understanding of trade mathematics and formulas is necessary to calculate flow rates and volumes. Additionally, you must understand temporary ventilation requirements and method trade standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical instructions.
• Plan work layouts and modify or repair valves and piping.
• Inspect and test installed piping and associated hardware.
• Calculate flow rates and volumes using trade mathematics.
• Understand and implement temporary ventilation requirements.
• Install and remove temporary pipe services onboard surface ships, submarines, shops, dry docks, and piers.

Pay and Benefits
