Robotics Technician

APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Corunna, MI looking to add an Automation / Robotics Technician to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial robots, PLCs, and automated systems. Keep reading for more details!

2nd shift opportunity – Monday to Friday from 3pm-11pm

Competitive hourly rate ranging between $28-$35 / hr. depending on experience

Troubleshoot and repair industrial robots, PLCs, automation cells, sensors, and control systems

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on robotic and automated equipment

Support installation, setup, and testing of new automation systems

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance cycle times and equipment reliability

Maintain detailed documentation, including maintenance records, wiring diagrams, and programming updates

Follow all safety standards and lockout / tagout procedures

Program and fine-tune robot paths, I / O, and PLC logic to meet production requirements

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

Provide technical assistance and training to operators and maintenance staff

Associate degree or technical certification in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field

2+ years of robotics and automation experience in a manufacturing environment

Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics

Hands-on experience with major robotics platforms such as Fanuc, ABB, or KUKA

Skilled in reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and ladder logic
