Of Counsel Attorney (Part-Time)
- Handle litigation
- Give Accurate and timely counsel to executives
- Keep up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the companys legal function
- Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics
- Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies
- Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues
- Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the companys full legal rights
- Deal with complex matters
- Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility
- Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
- Specifying internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE :
Bachelors Degree or higher.Doctor of JurisprudenceLicensed to practice law in the State of North CarolinaExceptional communication skills (oral and written).Ability to work through complex issues.CHARACTERISTICS :
Ability to represent the company in various forums to foster the desires and image of the company in the community.Dependable, ethical, and trustworthy.Professional image at all times.Strong desire to provide exceptional customer serviceSelf-starter and able to work independently.Pay :
$200-$300 a month Retainer fee$150-$200 an hour
