Job Title : Inventory Management Support B

Job Location : Palm Bay, FL

Job Description : Responsible for, controlling and managing activities related to inventory control within the stockroom, receiving, shipping, expediting, dock oversite and training. Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures / training material. Troubleshoot and rectify discrepancies and assist Supply Chain with system flow to ensure consistencies in understanding and look for process improvements to that end.

Essential Functions :

• Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the receiving, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
• Tracks all production and non-production material coming from the dock using a Product Tracking System.
• Verify and inspect for non-conforming material in accordance with L3Harris Inventory Management procedures.
• Safely handles, transfers, and transports chemicals in accordance with the current version of Hazardous Chemical Guidebook.
• Receives incoming materials, unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
• Maintains records of received goods, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
• Utilizes box truck to distribute materials to and from internal customer.
• Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, tow motors, forklifts, etc. upon receipt of internal certification.
• Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.

Qualifications : Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary / Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
