Job Purpose : Maintains facilities by performing minor repairs to building; service equipment; maintaining company vehicle.

Duties :

• Determines tools to use by reviewing work assignments.
• Maintains windows by replacing broken glass with new panes.
• Completes repairs by providing plumbing, bulb-replacement, touch-up painting; building; electrical fixture cleaning and other services.
• Maintains tractor-mower by sharpening blades; performing tune-ups and engine repairs.
• Maintains company vehicle by maintaining gasoline and oil levels; arranging regular maintenance.
• Maintains safe work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Maintains continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Documents actions by completing forms and logs.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
• Enhances facilities services and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
