FinTrust Connect has partnered with a community-focused regional banking institution to identify a skilled Commercial Portfolio Manager. This role supports a growing credit team focused on commercial and CRE portfolios, providing underwriting, portfolio management, and client service expertise. You'll play a critical part in structuring deals, assessing credit risk, and ensuring seamless loan servicing alongside Relationship Managers.

Requirements :
4-6 years of experience in credit analysis or commercial bankingBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fieldIn-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordExperience with middle market underwriting and portfolio managementFamiliarity with commercial loan structuring and documentationDescription :
Analyze financial statements and prepare credit memos for new and renewed commercial loan requestsPartner with Relationship Managers on client calls and credit presentationsSupport portfolio management through covenant tracking, annual reviews, and compliance monitoringEnsure accurate loan grading and recommend updates based on risk changesWork with internal partners including Credit Administration, Loan Ops, and Legal to ensure documentation and complianceUse specialized tools (e.g., CRE analysis platforms) to evaluate complex transactionsMonitor documentation exceptions and support audit readinessStay informed of industry trends, regulatory updates, and internal policy changes
