Qualified Staffing Marietta is hiring a talented and detailed Quality Assurance Associate for our client in the Metro Atlanta area.

The Quality Assurance Associate in the packaging area is responsible for:

Gathering and testing in-process samples.
Performing clearance inspections on areas, materials, and equipment.
Handling rejected material to ensure it is properly managed.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):

Conduct and document QA activities related to packaging, ensuring all activities follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Perform clearance inspections on packaging areas, materials, and equipment.
Maintain clean and safe work and storage areas.
Sampling and testing of packaged products or inspection of incoming labeling materials.
Perform reconciliations and yield calculations.
Review batch documents for accuracy and completeness.
Complete logbooks, production records, and other documentation.
Properly handle reject and retain samples and ensure they are stored correctly.
Ensure compliance with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Mikart procedures.

Key Characteristics and Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and adherence to standards.
Basic computer skills and typing proficiency.
Strong mathematical skills.
Fluent in English, bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
Ability to work independently and be detail-oriented.

Education and Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required.
1 year of relatable experience preferred (e.g., in quality assurance, packaging, or a similar field).

Physical Demands:

Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand motions.
Some heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) may be required.
Ability to gown and work in a cleanroom environment.
Ability to wear a respirator if required.

Shift: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30 pm (must also be open to overtime and Saturday work)

Pay: $17/hr.
