C & H Excavation is looking to mentor an Entry Level Welder / Shop Hand who is eager to learn and motivated to have a career in welding.

Responsibilities :

• Pre-existing MIG / Stick Welding knowledge and experience with a willingness to learn;
• Familiarity with Farm equipment, Heavy equipment, Light trucks, and Cars;
• Cut and Grind steel for fabrication;
• Conduct Oil Changes according to manufacturer specifications;
• Pressure Test and Fill Tires according to manufacturer specifications;
• Lubricate necessary Moving Parts such as Engine and Wheel Bearings;
• Ensure engines are kept Clean throughout Servicing;
• Diagnose existing Issues while Consulting with lead mechanics to address vehicle issues;
• Greasing Equipment as needed;
• Cleaning the Shop whenever needed;
• Critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
• Take all safety precautions and follow all safety guidelines;
• Wear required PPE in all required locations of the facility;
• Additional tasks as assigned.

Salary : $18.00 - $25.00 hour DOE
