This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

Rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call responsibilities. Travelers must be flexible with their schedule and will be required to work 2 out of the 4 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a large trauma level 1 specialty. Responsibilities will include both scrubbing and circulating in various surgical procedures.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Circulate and scrub for various surgical cases including orthopedic, urology, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, CVT, and trauma.

    • \n

  • Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient practices.

    • \n

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

    • \n

  • Adhere to best practices and comply with all hospital policies and procedures.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in the Operating Room.

    • \n

  • Prior travel nursing experience is required.

    • \n

  • EPIC experience within the past 2 years is nonnegotiable.

    • \n

  • BLS certification is required.
