Associate - Industrial
Overview :
The Associate plays a pivotal role in the success of each search by driving research, name generation, market mapping, and candidate sourcing efforts. This individual will support the Partner(s) and broader Industrial team in building robust talent pools, executing targeted outreach, and conducting initial screening conversations. The role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment, brings sharp attention to detail, and has the intellectual curiosity to quickly learn new industries, adapt strategies, and deliver results.
Key Responsibilities :
Search Execution & Research
- Lead market mapping and name generation to identify candidates and talent pools aligned to client needs.
- Execute multi-channel sourcing strategies beyond LinkedIn, leveraging research tools, firm-wide networks, and creative approaches to uncover top talent.
- Draft candidate profiles, outreach messaging, and related deliverables with impeccable written accuracy and consistency.
- Participate in client kick-off meetings and translate requirements into actionable research and sourcing strategies.
- Initiate candidate outreach and engage in first-round screening calls to assess interest, fit, and qualifications.
Candidate & Client Support
Deliver precise and error-free written materials, including status updates and client-ready reports, with extreme attention to detail.Support the Partner in presenting candidate slates, providing clear summaries of research, sourcing progress, and candidate interactions.Maintain strong communication with candidates and referral sources, representing the firm with professionalism and discretion.Data Management & Insights
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all information entered into Salesforce and other internal systems.Capture and communicate market intelligence, competitor activity, and industry insights to inform search strategy and client discussions.Professional Growth & Contribution
Take ownership and accountability for assigned workstreams, consistently managing up to ensure alignment and progress.Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly pivot between industries, functions, and search strategies.Embrace the “grind” of research and sourcing, viewing it as a foundational part of executing world-class searches.Develop growing expertise across industries such as industrials, consumer goods, manufacturing, automotive, B2B2C, mining and metals, appliances, food & beverage, luxury hospitality, or general hospitality.Required Skills and Abilities :
2+ years of recruiting, sourcing, or research experience (executive search or relevant industry background preferred).Strong organizational and business instincts, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.High sense of ownership, accountability, and the ability to manage up effectively is required.Exceptional written communication skills, with unwavering attention to accuracy, clarity, and consistency in reports.Strong sourcing and outreach skills, with the ability (or readiness) to conduct initial screening calls.Intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and the drive to learn quickly and execute with precision.Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus).Role Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree required.Experience or exposure to industries such as industrials, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, automotive, mining and metals, appliances, food and beverage, luxury hospitality, or hospitality strongly preferred.Positive, collaborative mindset with a balance of humility and confidence.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-expectation environment.We Offer You
