Manager, Talent And Performance

The Manager, Talent and Performance role will help support broader organizational performance by helping to ensure we have the right people in the right roles. The ideal candidate for the role will be a champion of our pay-for-performance philosophy and will help create alignment and clarity on performance standards and expectations across all levels of the organization. This role will strategically work with business partners, specifically in the performance management and employee relations space, and leverage strong cross functional relationships to arrive at the right outcomes for our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the management team on performance or employee relations issues, consulting to determine the root cause as well as appropriate next steps and required documentation of the same.
  • In partnership with HR Ops, serve as the lead for all facets of Talent Workday processes, including mid-year reviews, year-end reviews, talent evaluation exercises and goal setting.
  • Execute the mid-year and year-end review process, including training, communications and remaining components to ensure cycles are successfully completed and all required data is captured.
  • Coach managers on best practices related to employee performance and team management.
  • Manage the compliance of the Hybrid Work Environment policy, including monthly report outs and temporary exceptions.
  • Negotiate employee transitions and general release agreements.
  • Partner with the VP, HR with items related to org design, secondment or other needs as business requires.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of HR experience required, preferably in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Highly knowledgeable on employee relations and performance management practices.
  • JD or SPHR a plus
  • Ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships to drive outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, forward-looking mindset with an ability to anticipate an actions future impact
  • Salary range specific to for this role : $113,000 - $150,000 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, and qualifications. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.

    This is a hybrid role and requires you to be in office 4 days a week in our Morristown, NJ location.
