We are looking for a skilled analyst to join an expanding subgroup within our Finance team who can help us manage and improve many of our daily activities and processes. We don’t require any finance background or other particular experience—we care more about your curiosity, enthusiasm, and how you think and learn.
Members of our Financial Resource Management group, like the rest of Jane Street, are critical thinkers and problem solvers. We are ultimately responsible for managing the capital base the firm uses for trading. Much of what we do is constrained optimization – working with and providing costs to trading desks, managing our positions across providers subject to a vast set of limits and constraints, and strategizing how to support future growth. We’re also responsible for the modeling, monitoring, and operational processes that enable it.
In this role, you’ll work closely with colleagues within the group, with other teams throughout the firm, and with external counterparties - taking on responsibilities including:

As you gain experience in day-to-day operations, you'll independently make high-value, time-sensitive decisions, take increased responsibility for key processes, and design and implement long-term improvements. You’ll begin to think through how we prepare and respond to exceptional events and market volatility.
Note: You’ll be required to take the registration exams needed to obtain a series license upon starting.
