SUMMARY DESCRIPTION :

Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies, cable and wiring harnesses, chassis and subsystems according to Assembly Work Instructions and Top Assembly Drawings. Test subassemblies using laboratory instrumentation, test jigs, and fixtures according to test procedures. Perform Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) as required. Major production assignment will be for SDB wing assembly, but may be called upon to support other programs as required.

Performs basic and intricate electronic / electro-mechanical assembly functions on prototype and production type hardware according to company workmanship standards and military or client specifications. Uses hand or power tools, torque wrenches and other manufacturing tools IAW Work Instructions related to the job being performed May perform any rework from test failures in accordance with standard repair.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

Under direct supervision, capable of performing a wide variety of jobs. Works on assignments that are routine in nature requiring moderate judgment. Has little role in decision-making. Work is regularly checked for efficiency and quality of product.

• Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies
• Perform inspections and test on assemblies
• Perform Acceptance Testing
• Assist with Packaging as required

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIRED :

2 years Technical School or AS degree : or 2 years applicable job experience

Knowledge and proficiency with hand tools, small power tools, torque wrenches, common electronic lab instrumentation (o-scopes, power supplies, DVM, etc.). Ability to read and communicate effectively in English language. Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings, schematic diagrams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50 / hr.
