RN ICU Step-Down - Full-time

These patients may require telemonitoring or hardwire monitors and may have trachs, vents, and IV drips (non-titrate). As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. • A caregiver in this position works night shifts from 7 : 00 p.m. 7 : 30 a.m. with every other weekend and holiday requirements. \n\nA caregiver who excels in this role will : \n\n+ Provide direct nursing care.\n\n+ Implement and monitor patient care plans.\n\n+ Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.\n\n+ Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.\n\n+ Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.\n\n+ Educate patients and their families\n\nMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include : \n\n+ Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing\n\n+ Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)\n\n+ One year of current acute care RN experience.
