Job description

Hybrid / Remote

Procurement Analyst - Vendor Assurance

35 hours per week

Hybrid onsite in Norfolk, V

Works closely with third-party vendors and associates in Procurement, Global Security, Global Compliance, Global Privacy, Accounts Payable and various other stakeholders involved in the process.

  • Responsible for completing and reviewing risk reviews for a portfolio of vendors. This includes initiating, facilitating and resolving issues to complete a risk assessment that involves interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for updating the database as well as educating Procurement and other associates on how to navigate and input information
  • Review / analyze a variety of Purchasing system reports, prepare statistical data, and compile results
  • Identify improvements in current reporting processes or systems and suggest new ideas to streamline and reduce non-value-added time / activities
  • Provide functional and technical application support to ensure that the system continues to operate as per design specifications
  • ssist and support the team in identifying and implementing process enhancements for program and database maintenance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in business or the equivalent in education and experience
  • 1-3 years of related experience preferred

    • Preference will be given to candidates who have the following :

  • dvanced MS Office Skills required
  • Must have demonstrated flexibility and tolerance of changing business environments
  • Oral, written, analytical and presentation skills
  • bility to interact with all levels of internal clients and understand their needs.
  • bility to work independently / initiative / self-starter
  • Must have demonstrated understanding and application of procurement and e-procurement marketplace
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must have analytical skills with knowledge in excel / database management
