Security Officer Position

Allied Universal is now hiring full-time security officers for Smithfield Foods in Carroll, IA. Job details include :

Pay Rate : $18.96 / hour

Schedule : Evening and overnight shift available

Duties : Foot patrol, CCTV monitoring, and access control.

Experience : Prior security experience is preferred, but not required. Alternatively, a customer service background is required.

Skills : Comfortable using technology devices.

Physical Requirements : Must be able to walk, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities :

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Minimum requirements :

Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
