Job Summary
Transnation Title Agency is currently looking for an Escrow Assistant. The ideal candidate should be friendly and organized, have a strong work ethic, and desire to find solutions.
The Escrow Assistant is responsible for providing clerical support during escrow transactions' opening, maintaining, and closing. They also assist escrow officers by creating and editing correspondence and documents, maintaining files and records, and providing client services.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Effectively communicate with customers to process new and existing title orders.
- Assist with front desk duties, answering phones, incoming and outgoing mail, distributing faxes and emails, etc.
- Assist customers with general information on company escrow services, procedures, and file status.
- Maintain bookkeeping records and print checks for escrow transactions.
- Handle minor revisions of title commitments.
- Monitor and order office supplies as directed by the manager.
- Issue short forms and instant policies.
- Inform escrow officers of any missing items or problems relevant to closing.
- Assist escrow officers with copying and preparing files for closing.
- Assist escrow officer with disbursements of transactions post-closing.
- Scheduling and coordinating closings with parties involved in transactions.
- File and record transaction documents for issuance of final policies.
- Keep open communications with all staff on potential client leads and concerns.
- Reliable Transportation.
- Regular attendance at workplace location.
The Escrow Assistant may be assigned to additional tasks in support of the department's goals.
Qualifications and Skills

A high school diploma or the recognized equivalent is required.
Experience
1 year of experience within the real estate, insurance, or banking industry is preferred but not required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
