Responsibilities

• The University of South Alabama Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine is seeking a talented and motivated academic joint replacement surgeon at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor to become a member of our rapidly growing clinical practice.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, clinical practice, and conducting innovative research in joint disorders, including but not limited to arthroplasty, joint preservation, and minimally invasive techniques.
• This position will also involve mentorship of medical students and residents, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in departmental and interdisciplinary teams.
• Leadership positions are available to qualified candidates.
